- The Rawinala Special Education Foundation is committed to providing education for children with profound disabilities and complex needs such as visual impairment (blindness or low vision) with the addition of hearing impairment, developmental delay, physical disabilities, autism, and other disabilities. The term Rawinala comes from ancient Javanese language which means “Light of the Heart”. We believe that Visual Impairment is not an obstacle because these children can see through other parts of their body, especially the heart and their senses. The basic concept of Rawinala is to engage all parts of the community to have positive, caring and optimistic attitudes towards our multi disabled students. We published this bulletin to represent our gratitude to people who supports our ministry and as an information media about the children’s development. Give your heart and hand to serve…
